Questions, answered plainly
A little more context about what Fianais is, what stage it is at and how to explore it.
Yes. The product direction, language, and workflows are centred on Scottish school practice, including ASN review work, arrangements, learner voice, and evidence that needs to hold up in real school conversations.
No. Fianais is designed to sit alongside existing systems so schools can pull core data in, work from live support information, and avoid duplicating manual effort.
The aim is the opposite. The product is designed to capture classroom reality in the smallest useful unit so staff can contribute quickly and ASN teams do not have to reconstruct evidence later.
Fianais is an independent, early-stage project. Rob Fraser is currently looking for Scottish education practitioners who can test ideas, challenge workflows, and help decide what would need to be true before any school pilot is considered.
Read the Founding Practitioner Charter, try the demo, or get in touch through the contact page. The next step can be as small as an initial 30-minute conversation.
